Black-throated Sparrow
Occurred the most disproportionately in southern Oregon hexagons
with more than 38% big sagebrush shrubland and May maximum
temperature (hex. min.) of 15-20� C. The logistic regression analysis
showed positive or negative association with big sagebrush shrubland,
elevation (hex. avg.), the extent of public land, and-to a lesser
degree-barren, seasonally wet playa, salt desert scrubland, ponderosa
pine forest, and mixed conifer forest (Northeast Oregon).
